The International Fur Trade Federation (IFTF) is the only organisation to represent the international fur trade. The IFTF has 42 member organisations that are in turn trade or farming associations representing the fur sector in their country. The 42 member associations come from 35 countries around the world.
To join the IFTF is become a part of a worldwide fur trade community. Each member is entitled to appoint up to four national delegates to sit on the IFTF Council and provide a view on the direction of the IFTF.
Members get advice and guidelines on trade issues, news on scientific, political and welfare developments, fashion and trends and support for PR work. IFTF organises regular seminars and workshops for members.
