Students from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan had the opportunity to visit a furrier workshop in Istanbul, Turkey.
This Eurasia furrier workshop in Istanbul was held from 16-27 May. During these 2 weeks students from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan had a wonderful opportunity to study fur with professionals at modern manufactories.
Educational process included basic furrier skill training, fur grading, cutting, sewing and the use of modern technologies in designing and tailoring fur and leather garments. Every day from 10am to 5pm students mastered their skills and explored the broad possibilities of fur usage and combining fur with other materials.
This workshop gave students a lot of knowledge, skills as well as inspired them to create something new in their daily work.
